As if I wasn't down enough with everything we have been dealing with having a 16 year old exchange student that hates the country, I found out today that a very special lady passed away.
Paula was one of our nurses while we were in the NICU with the boys. She was with us almost everyday of the 19 we were there because she was picking up some extra hours. We bonded and had some great talks. We also kept in touch after the boys came home. I feel terrible that we lost touch over time. She was very special and I think of her often. Another of my nurse friends that messaged me with the news summed it up, "now she can rock all those little babies in heaven!" Brings me to tears just typing it! Rest in peace Paula! You are a wonderful special lady that will be missed deeply!
Man when I started this blog I was hoping it would be more on the lighter side of life! Guess I picked the wrong week to start!
